Tom Moses is a registered United States Patent Attorney and member of the State Bar of South Carolina. He received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1994, and has practiced in the field of intellectual property law during his entire career. Mr. Moses has worked in both private and corporate practice, routinely representing clients with diverse backgrounds, including individuals, small businesses, and large corporations.
Mr. Moses holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Wofford College, and his practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property law, including patent and trademark prosecution, administrative proceedings at the USPTO, litigation, licensing, trade secrets, opinion work, and client counseling.
Outside of the legal profession, Mr. Moses has a wide range of interests, including fishing, scuba diving, camping, outdoor cooking, snow-boarding, and occasionally serves as a wilderness guide in Alaska.
Randy Jay Tucker is a chemical engineer and licensed patent attorney whose primary practice area includes patents and trademarks. Whether he is handling office action responses or discovery issues that may arise during litigation, he takes an active role in helping his clients' navigate the challenges of intellectual property issues.
Mr. Tucker is a graduate of the Charlotte School of Law, where he was a Merit Scholarship recipient and member of the Intellectual Property Law Society. Mr. Tucker obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and worked as a process engineer at a well-known South Carolina chemical company prior to attending law school.
Mr. Tucker is currently licensed to practice in South Carolina as well as the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Carolina Patent Trademark Copyright Law Association. As an avid Gamecock fan, Mr. Tucker enjoys everything SEC football and regularly goes back to Columbia to attend football and baseball games. Mr. Tucker also enjoys travelling the country with his wife Lauren and Boykin Spaniel Hampton.
Cameron Applegate specializes in Patent Law and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She received her Patent bar registration in early 2012 and is a practicing patent agent for Southeast IP Group, LLC.
Mrs. Applegate holds a B.S. in Microbiology and an M.S. in Molecular Pharmacology and Biomedical Sciences. While fully experienced in prosecuting patents in any field of art, her scientific expertise lies in pharmaceuticals and their interactions with biological systems. Prior to practicing patent law, Mrs. Applegate began her career at the Medical University of South Carolina where she designed and implemented targeted drug therapy approaches for treating cancer as well as performing preclinical and clinical testing of a variety of chemotherapeutic agents in cell culture, mouse models, and patients. Following the birth of her son, in early 2012 Mrs. Applegate decided to hang up her "white coat" and transitioned from laboratory research and clinical medicine to patent law. When not working, Mrs. Applegate enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.
Kelly Hardin is the office manager and legal assistant for Southeast IP Group. With over 20 years of experience in the administrative and financial fields, she has been an invaluable member of the firm since 2013.
Her responsibilities include the day-to-day operations and management of the firm, including all financial aspects, scheduling, docketing, client management, document preparation and management, as well as assisting the attorneys and agents.
When not working, Mrs. Hardin enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters.
